Speech language communication skills
In addition to their functional and mobility challenges, many of the patients we treat also struggle with limited speech, life and communication skills. Our experienced special education teacher, whose work background includes speech language pathology, helps patients develop skills and methods for interacting with society and teaches children various strategies for overcoming learning difficulties. She also educates caregivers and family members on how to best develop communication and life skills with their loved one in the course of everyday living.
